So what should a person do when they're income does not keep up with inflation? When they often have to live on a credit card just to pay their bills, mind you oh, they don't have cable, they live in the cheapest available housing, they drive a vehicle with a hundred and forty thousand miles, which they must have to get to work, they never buy expensive things, luxury items, because they are a single household income. According to what the western church says, live on 80%, save 10% and give 10% to the local church you attend. And now here is the issue, where my hundred percent doesn't get you there, and you still managed to give a little, you don't save anyting oh, but you do give a little to the church, should you go to church? I mean, you benefit from the building parking lot at air conditioning? So should you go to church? The answer is no, you should not go until you have found the way who live on 80% of your income, save 10% of your income, and then give 10% of your income to the corporation where you and other Christians meet. I would say it is not right to go enjoy a sermon and a praise band who need to get paid. The difference is if you are a woman, women are not required to tithe. Just go by the authority of scripture, find me a place in the Bible where women are instructed to give up there income. The Widow's Mite was a great gift out of her love oh, but she was to receive income from the church not give it.
